How do I pay?

The carpark buildings work on an automated pay system.

  • As you drive into the building you will be required to take a ticket.
  • Keep this ticket with you, as you will need it to make payment before returning to your car.
  • Find a carpark. (Note which level you have parked on. We have coloured reminder slips you can take near the lifts on each level of the carpark).
  • When you are ready to leave Waikato Hospital you will need to go to one of the parking payment machines and insert your ticket.  The machine will then tell you how much you need to pay for parking. Once payment has been made your ticket will be validated for exit.
  • You have a short period of time (less than 30 minutes) to go to your vehicle and exit.
  • Insert your ticket into the machine at the exit barrier to raise the barrier arm.

Parking payment machine locations

  • Hague Road Carpark - Levels B5 (ground), B3 (Transit Lounge) and Level 1 (by the lifts).
  • Pembroke Street Carpark - At the pedestrian entrance on Level 1.

Weekly pass available

If the patient you are visiting is staying longer than one night and you are likely to visit many times over a seven-day period, you can request a weekly pass.
