Education opportunities and calendar

Education planning is directed by the strategic work of the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate and considers the future nursing and midwifery workforce development needs and alignment with the organisations’ healthcare service goals & targets.

The aim of nursing and midwifery education within the Professional Development Unit is to support the development of nursing and midwifery education planning and future workforce development across the Waikato District Health Board.

The objective of the education calendar is to advertise and promote education and professional development events/activities for nurses and midwives across the Waikato DHB region.
