Message from Geriatric Medicine Physician, Simone Macindoe

The experience you get on a run in our older persons and rehabilitation service can open your eyes to the potential of specialising in geriatric medicine.
Yes, there are clinical leaders, but the whole approach is very holistic, we work together as team and respect each other's areas of expertise...
To specialise in geriatric medicine you must want to be involved in the reality of the lives of the people in your care, including their family situations...It's a fantastic experience.
