Board of Clinical Governance
The role of Te Whatu Ora Waikato's Board of Clinical Governance is to ensure a high standard of clinical quality by:
- monitoring relevant clinical systems, standards, indicators of performance and plans
- where necessary, requiring the organisation to remedy or improve matters.
Its membership includes senior representatives of specialties and health professions, executive directors or clinical directors of health services, the director of Quality and Patient Safety, and two DHB board representatives. The chair is the chief medical officer.
